  Ofsted
OFSTED INSPECTION
St Peter's School welcomed a team of three inspectors from Ofsted in June 2013.  We are delighted that the report states that St Peter's is a GOOD school.  Pupils "enjoy school and feel safe."  Provision for pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is "excellent", pupils' behaviour is "impeccable", parents and carers are "very supportive" and the school has "a firm ambition to develop further".  For more glowing accolades read the report.

BUY4SCHOOLS
The Friends have registered St Peter's with the Buy4Schools website.  Every time you use the Buy4Schools website to buy online you earn cashback which is split between you and your school.  Once you have earned 10 it can be paid into your bank account.  More on the Buy4Schools website ...

ADMISSION POLICY 2016/17
Please note:  In our DRAFT Admission Policy 2016/17 [updated February 2015] the school is proposing a change to criterion 5 as follows: FROM "Children whose parent(s) are regular worshippers* at a Christian church which has membership or observer status of Churches Together in Great Britain" TO "Children whose parent(s) is/are regular worshipper(s) at a Christian Church which is a member of Churches Together in Britain or Ireland or a member of the Evangelical Alliance".  Anyone who has views on this proposed change is invited to comment to the school office by 1 March 2015.  For other policies see our Policies page.

THE FRIENDS OF ST PETER'S NEED YOU!
We need volunteers to be able to continue to run events and help fund exciting activities for the children.  If you are able to help in any way, or would just like to find out more, please contact Mrs Doyle or email friends@st-peters-jun.hants.sch.uk.
  Coats
COATS
Please ensure that your child has a waterproof coat in school each day.  Whenever practical we try to have break times outside, even if there is a little rain.
  Healthy snacks
HEALTHY SNACKS
We continue to promote healthy snacks at break-time and encourage children to drink water during the day.  Permitted snacks include fruit, vegetables, a roll, plain biscuits (such as rich tea and digestives) and bread sticks.  Snacks are on sale each day from the kitchen, prices ranging from 25-50p.
